The North Carolina Division is composed of over 100 individual chapters, called "Camps," which are located throughout the state. For information about the camp nearest you, please contact the following: Andrew Johnson, 2nd Lt. Commander Benefits of membership include participation in local, state and national events; a membership certificate; a subscription to the Confederate Veteran magazine, published bimonthly; and a subscription to the Carolina Confederate newsletter, published bimonthly. You will also be eligible to have the Sons of Confederate Veterans specialized license plate for your private vehicle registered in North Carolina. Best of all, you'll be helping to preserve the honorable memory of the Confederate fighting man. Application for membership is best accomplished through a local Sons of Confederate Veterans camp in your area. If you are not a resident of North Carolina, you can still join a camp in North Carolina. If you need help finding out who your Confederate ancestor was, please contact our genealogist.
