North Carolina Historic Monument Protection Act

  

NORTH CAROLINA HISTORIC MONUMENT PROTECTION ACT

The North Carolina Historic Monument Protection Act has been introduced in both houses of the N.C. General Assembly.

Senate Bill 176 was introduced by Sen. Hamilton Horton, and House Bill 502 was introduced by Rep. Rick Eddins.

S.B. 176 has been assigned to the Senate Committee on State and Local Government, and H.B. 502 has been assigned to the House Committee on State Government. 

Please contact the members of these committees in support of the Monument Protection Act.  Also contact the leadership of the General Assembly.

Let them know that this bill will protect all monuments to North Carolinas veterans. If you are a veteran of military service, please let them know that.  Also, if you live in a members district, make sure to let him know that.
